About PJ
PJ Chen is a jewelry designer, educator, and Authorized Rhino Trainer with more than two decades of experience in the jewelry industry. Since 2002, she has worked with designers and brands to transform creative ideas into accurate, production-ready 3D models—not simply designs that look good on screen.
After teaching jewelry design and CAD at colleges for more than 20 years, including serving as a full-time faculty member at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), PJ now focuses on her own online courses and coaching programs. Through practical, step-by-step instruction and personalized guidance, she helps aspiring and working designers build strong CAD skills, solve real production challenges, develop professional portfolios, and move toward their career and business goals.
PJ has taught thousands of students worldwide and has provided hands-on Rhino training to teams at companies including Fossil, Michael Kors, Ford, and Denso. Her teaching combines extensive industry experience with a deep understanding of how jewelry is designed, manufactured, and brought to market.
